Microsoft announces US$2.2 billion investment to fuel Malaysia’s cloud and AI transformation

Microsoft is committing a record-breaking US$2.2 billion investment in Malaysia's digital transformation, its largest ever in the country. This initiative includes building cloud and AI infrastructure, upskilling 200,000 Malaysians in AI, partnering with the government to establish a national AI center, and supporting the growth of Malaysia's developer community. This investment aims to position Malaysia as a hub for advanced technologies, enhancing productivity, competitiveness, resilience, and economic growth.
